Hindu Makkal Katchi condemns Kalyanaraman's arrest: Arjun Sampath demands immediate release.

Coimbatore: Hindu Makkal Katchi leader Arjun Sampath has condemned the arrest of Kalyanaraman and demanded his immediate release.

In a press release, "Kalyanaraman addressed a rally in Mettupalayam, Coimbatore district, in it he condemned Prime Minister Modi for insulting and slandering SDPI, and posters of SDPI and PFI as Islamic terrorist organizations. When Kalyanaraman began to speak, the thugs of the above-mentioned Islamic terrorist organizations came to the protest site with the intention of causing a riot. But the police did not stop them or arrest them and instead started begging them."

He also said, "Coimbatore district police have once again proved that they support the Islamic fundamentalist organizations by arresting Kalyanaraman who was dining in his house after the meeting."

He accused, "What is the mystery behind the arrest of Kalyanaraman? and Why the police officer did not arrest the Islamist terrorists who violated the rules and intervened in the protest, and why the police did not arrest the Islamic terrorists who had insulted Prime Minister Modi. I urge the Tamil Nadu government and the police to release Kalyanaraman immediately, do not provoke the protest and do not support anti-Hindu activities."

He further added, "BJP state executive committee member Kalyanaraman and former city council chairman Satish should also be released immediately and the false charges should be withdrawn. Condemning the Tamil Nadu police for acting partially and demanding the release of arrested Hindu leaders Kalyanaraman and Satish, protests will be held in a democratic manner on behalf of the Hindu Makkal Katchi in entire Tamil Nadu."
