BJP Kalyanaraman insults Prophet: Islamic organizations protest in Coimbatore and Tirupur
Coimbatore: in the incident where BJP Kalyanaraman insulted Mohammed Prophet the islamic organizations protest in Coimbatore and Tirupur. Islamic organizations staged a protest following a complaint that BJP executive Kalyanaraman had insulted the Prophet during an event at Mettupalayam.
For this, Islamic organizations across Tamil Nadu have been strongly condemning Kalyanaraman and Islamist groups in Coimbatore and Tirupur staged roadblocks at around 9 last night.

In this, TMMK was involved in a road blockade in Ukkadam area and PFI members were involved in a road blockade in front of the Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police office.

After negotiation by the police and after the arrest of Kalyanaraman, the protest was called off.
The Coimbatore District Popular Front of India has issued a statement condemning this. Hakeem, the organisation's district chairman said, "We strongly condemn the police for arresting Muslims who chanted slogans against Kalyanaraman and against the BJP, which continues to insult religious ambassadors who value the lives of Islamists and continue to disrupt religious harmony in Tamil Nadu.
Kalyanaraman, who addressed a protest rally on behalf of the BJP in Mettupalayam, Coimbatore district on 31.01.2021, was arrested after he shouted anti-Islamist slogans in protest against the Prophet Muhammad (Sahallalhuh Alaihivaslam) who continued to speak slanderous about him and the Shahabah and the Shahabi women. Stop acting with contempt against Islams. I urge the Tamil Nadu Police to immediately arrest Kalyanaraman of the BJP and release the arrested Islamists."
