Coimbatore Christian Association petitions the Collector requesting to set up a welfare board
Coimbatore: Coimbatore Christian Association petitions the Collector in the grievance meeting requesting to set up a welfare board.
Co-ordinator of the Association Bishop Sahayaraj, told reporters, “Many missionaries in India are doing good things for the welfare of the people. The Government of Tamil Nadu has helped by setting up welfare centers for the suffering people.

Already, there is a Muslim Welfare Board for Muslims and a Priests Welfare Board for Hindus. Likewise, the government should issue a decree to set up a welfare ministry for Christians. If this is set up, we will continue to support the government in the future."
