Coimbatore: 3 ganja dealers wandering around with a knife arrested in Coimbatore. Police led by Periyanaickenpalayam Police Inspector Selvanayagam were on patrol in Arivoli Nagar area near Periyanaickenpalayam in Coimbatore.
They tried to stop the 3 youths who came on a motorcycle that way but they tried to go without stopping. The police then searched and arrested them at Madakamanaickenpalayam and conducted an investigation.
As 3 of them gave contradictory answers police searched them and found that all 3 of them had knives. The three were identified as Pandi (age 23), a resident of Vyasarpadi, Chennai. Rajkumar (24) from Aruppukkottai, Kamalesh (22) from KK Nagar, Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore were also identified as ganja dealers.
Following this, the police seized 500 grams of ganja from them and arrested 3 persons. They were later produced in court and remanded in custody. Police are also searching for Ramesh Karthik, an associate of the arrested. Police are investigating as to why they wandered around with a knife.
