Vellore Ibrahim arrested for raising funds to build Ramar temple
Coimbatore: Vellore Ibrahim of BJP was arrested for raising funds in Coimbatore for building Ramar temple. Vellore Ibrahim has been campaigning for religious harmony with the BJP.
He came to Coimbatore todayto raise funds for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. At that time, he was detained by the Chettipalayam police and was also arrested and taken to the Central Jail on suspicion of his life being under threat.
Vellore Ibrahim said, “While giving voice for religious harmony, the police arrested me as some forces threatened my life. They arrested me instead of suppressing them. Though I am arrested, I will come back and raise funds to build the Ram Temple."
