I will get vaccinated along with the public: Tamilisai Soundarrajan
Coimbatore: Former chief of TN BJP and Governor of Telangana, Tamilisai Soundarrajan is visiting Coimbatore today.

She was visiting with her family to offer prayers at the iconic Maruthamalai Temple in Coimbatore.

Speaking to reporters she said that she worshipped Lord Muruga in Palani and came to Marudhamalai to pray that the world should get rid of the coronavirus. She said, "We are currently getting rid of the coronavirus and getting vaccinated. We should also be proud to export the vaccine manufactured in our country to developing countries. Last year we were all in fear. This year scientists are working on a way to get rid of our fear. We should all thank scientists for that."
She added that, "Physicians, nurses, and reporters who have worked as frontline staff are first vaccinated. They are vaccinated first as a gratitude towards them. I think this is not an experiment but a gift to them. If I had worked as a doctor I would have got vaccinated too. Being a governor, I will get the shot when it is the turn for the public.
I would like to express my gratitude to the Chief Minister for giving leave for Thaipoosam. I thank the Central Government and the State Governments for guiding the public and for implementing measures so that we could get rid of Coronavirus very quickly."
