Water pipe damaged in Avinashi road: MLA N. Karthik inspects restoration works at midnight
Coimbatore: MLA N. Karthik inspects restoration works of the damaged water pipes at midnight. The water pipe broke at the junction of Coimbatore Corporation, North Zone, Avinashi Road, Nava India, SNR Road yesterday.
As a result, the road was flooded and it was difficult for the public to travel on two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
The stagnant water caused traffic congestion and drinking water was getting wasted.
Singanallur MLA East District DMK in-charge N. Karthik immediately contacted the concerned department officials and urged them to repair the pipe breakage. The officials then came to the spot and inspected the damage.
MLA N. Karthik MLA went in person at midnight to inspect the restoration work of the broken pipes.
