Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 526 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,20,907 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,575.
Among districts, Chennai led with 145 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 48 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 52,725 today, totalling to 1,59,65,919 getting examined till date.
