Coimbatore: Air Arabia has announced to start operating 5 flights each week from February 8th.
Post the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, government of India had issued various restrictions, At present International Airlines, Air Arabia is providing international flight service between Coimbatore-Sharjah.
Previously 2 flights were operated on Wednesdays and Saturdays every week. From December 28ththe airlines management took steps in adding one more service onMondaywhich helped the travellers witness 3 flights each week.
Now the Air Arabia management have decided to increase the total flight services to 5 flights services each week.
Aviation sources said, "Air Arabia management has decided to increase the flight service between Coimbatore and Sharjah 5 times each week. The flights would be operated on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesdayand Wednesdayevery week.The flight departs from Sharjah at 11:45 pmand reach Coimbatore at 3:30 am. Again it will depart to Sharjah at 4:10 am. The additional services would be very helpful to the passengers."
Kongu Global Forum (KGF), Director, D NandaKumar said, "We are very thankful to the Air Arabia management for showing continues support in providing flight services to Coimbatore. This airlines is the oldest operating flight service between Coimbatore- Sharjah even before the Coimbatore Airport got an International Airport upgradation. We hope soon they start providing services on all days in a week. " He said.
