Two vans with toilet facilities allocated to Coimbatore District Police Officials

Of the two vans with toilet facilities one is for the Male Police Officials and the other is for the Female Police Officials.


Coimbatore: Tamilnadu goverment has allocated two vans with toilet facilities for the Coimbatore District Police Department. This vans with toilet facilities are allocated at the budget of 47 lakhs.

Of the two vans with toilet facilities one is for the Male Police Officials and the other is for the Female Police Officials.

The van for female police officials will have 2 western toilets, 2 Indian type toilets and 1 dress changing room. Meanwhile the male police officials van will have 3 western toilets and 2 Indian type toilets.

Keys to the vans which are built with modern technology were given to Sitrarasu, Assistant Commissioner for Firearms Departmentfrom Coimbatore Police Commissioner Sumit Sharan.

Microbiology department Additional Deputy Commissioner Ramesh Krishnan, Inspector Manivannan Pandian and Sub Inspector Kumar took part in this event.

This van toilet will be very useful to the police officials who are in outdoor public duty. Each van priced at ₹23,37,500 has adequate water supply which is highly appreciated by the female police officials.
