Comrade Padmanabhan headed this event and other guests including Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Secretary M Abdul Hakeem ( JIH ), Venmani from Dravidar Tamilar Party, R Arusamy from Theendamai Ozhipu Munani, CPIML(L) Pethros, PUCL Bala Murugan, CITU District Secretary Krishnamoorthy, Tamilnadu Dravidar Kazhagam Nagaraj and Comrade Sivagnanan took part in this event.
During the event the participants took a pledge to safeguard and protect Indian Constitution.
Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Secretary M Abdul Hakeem gave a special address at this gathering. During the event various teachings and incidents from the life of Mahatma Gandhi was discussed.
Members Ashik, Aneesh, Women wing representatives and Welfare party WPI organisers took part in this event.
