Over hundreds of students participated in the elocution competition organised by the Ayyasamy college administration officials.
Assistant Commissioner Selvam gave the welcome address followed by special speeches by various guests including government lawyer Marimuthu and surveillance team member Selvakumar.
District Police Superintendent Arularasu participated as the chief guest to this event and gave a special address to the students. During his address he spoke about how humanity is important among students and asked them to lead a life apart from cast, creed, religion, language etc.
He then said to the students that " Humanity is when we help our neighbours or an unknown person in times of trouble. Humanity is deep inside everyone of us as love. Earth still carries us because of our Humanity and we should lead a life with humanity and compassion."
