Prizes announced by service organisations to the winners of the Short film Competition which is to be conducted by them has got attention from people of all sectors.
Coimbatore: Service organisations namely, Citizens voice - Coimbatore, Citizen Consumer and Civic Action Group,Chennai. Anti corruption movement, Coimbatore, Farmers Association, Coimbatore (Casteless, non religious and non-political), AIMNGO, Coimbatore, Manuneethi Foundation, Coimbatore are jointly conducting a short film competition.
Topics for short films competition are: water conservation, Importance of consumer protection and right to information and role of the individuals in promoting good governance by eradicating corruption.
The short films on the above 3 topics must be within two minutes and must be submitted online. The short film can be a cartoon, puppet show or a shadow film.
In this, participants can present a short film that can be by either individuals or by a group with not more than 5 persons.
An individual or group can participate in a maximum of two topics. Candidates are requested to mention the title in the short film.
Winners will be given a cash prize of Rs 10,000 for the 1st place, Rs 5000 for the 2nd place and Rs 3000 for the 3rd place. Country vegetables and fruits will be provided for 7 days, to encourage villages and agriculture and kadhar gift vouchers for 7 persons as special prices.
Certificates of participation will be issued to all participants. The short films selected in the first three stages will be published on social media, television and in magazines to disseminate awareness among the people.
The last date for submitting short films will be 28.02.2021 and the presentation of Awards and Certificates will be held on 15.03.2021 World Consumer Day.
