Coimbatore: Members from Vanniyar community were involved in 5 stages of protests across Tamilnadu requesting the government to allocate 20% reservation for their community members in education and government jobs.
Today the Vanniyar community members took part in the 6th stage of protest across Tamilnadu. As a part of the protests members of Vanniyar community conducted demonstrations and petitioned at collector offices in various districts.
Meanwhile, PMK party members of Veerapandi area in Tirupur took part in a grand demonstration in front of the Tirupur District Collectorate.
Later the party members gave the petition to the District Revenue Officer Saravanamoorthy.
