Kadeswara Subramaniam arrested: Hindu Munnani protest in Coimbatore, 100 arrested.
Coimbatore: 100 Hindu Munnani members arrested for protesting in Coimbatore following arrest of Kadeswara Subramaniam. A road blockade was held in Coimbatore this eveningon behalf of the Coimbatore Hindu Munnani condemning the arrest of Kadeswara Subramaniam, the state leader of the Hindu Munnani who went to 'Girivalam' following a court order in Dindigul. More than 100 Hindu Munnani members were arrested for participating in it.
The Hindu Munnani said despite the court granting permission for Girivalam in the Padmagiriswarar temple premises in Dindigul, the Hindu Munnani state leader Kadeswara Subramaniam, who tried to hold the procession, was arrested.

Therefore, a road blockade was held in Gandhipuram on behalf of the Coimbatore District Hindu Munnani condemning his arrest. At the time, they raised various slogans, denouncing the police for their one-sided action and condemning the arrest of the State President despite a court order and said protests would continue in this regard.
The struggle was led by K. Dasarathan, the district chairman of the organization. District Spokesperson Danapal took the lead. A. Krishnan, District General Secretary M. Jaisankar State Executive Committee Member T. Guna and District City Union Branch Officers were present.
