Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 544 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,19,850 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,629.
Among districts, Chennai led with 151 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 48 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 52,457 today, totalling to 1,58,60,674 getting examined till date.
