7-year-old girl dies at private hospital in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: 7-year-old girl dies at private hospital in Coimbatore. A student who was treated for an injury in the finger at Muthu Hospital in Coimbatore has died suddenly. Hema Varna (age 7), a resident of Singanallur, Coimbatore, was admitted to a private hospital in Singanallur after she was injured in the hand after getting by the door and hence treatment was done to treat the injury. The girl suddenly died tragically yesterday.
The girl's parents lodged a complaint with the Singanallur police and demanded an inquiry into the death of their daughter. Inspector Rajkumar is investigating the matter and said that the doctors had said that the girl had concussion in the head and died due to this. Police said the reason would be known only after the postmortem.
