Three arrested in Anamalai for sexually abusing a minor girl.
Pollachi: All women police in Pollachi have arrested three men for sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl from Anamalai.
The 16-year-old daughter, a 10th grade student of a daily wage labourer from Anamalai allegedly got acquainted with three men from the same locale. She has been reportedly talking to them over phone for a while.
On January 14, the minor's father lodged a complaint at Anamalai police station, after the girl went missing. Following this, the police registered a case and investigated.
Meanwhile, on January 19 the girl appeared at the All Women Police Station in Pollachi and reported that she was subjected to sexual assualt by three men.
Based on her complaint and inquiry, the police arrested Haris (23), Surya (23) and Praveen (23) from Anamalai on Wednesday. Later, the trio were produced before judicial magistrate and remanded. The arrested are said to be unrelated to each other.
