Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 564 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,19,306 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,676.
Among districts, Chennai led with 159 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 51 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 56,098 today, totalling to 1,58,08,217 getting examined till date.
