Coimbatore: Farmers protest carrying agricultural equipment in Coimbatore in support of farmers protesting in Delhi.
Farmers have been protesting for more than 60 days in the capital, Delhi, demanding the repeal of the newly passed agricultural laws. More than 100 farmers have died due to the severe cold conditions prevailing there.

In support of these farmers, the All India Farmers' Protest Coordinating Committee today staged a protest in Coimbatore carrying agricultural equipment.

More than 50 farmers marched from Thandumariamman Kovil Road near the Coimbatore Collector's Office to the District Collectorate.
Later, Coordinating Committee Chairman S. Palanisamy told reporters, “We are engaged in a protest in Coimbatore in support of the farmers protesting in the capital Delhi. Permission has been denied for a tractor rally in Tamil Nadu. We will continue to intensify the struggle. "

The struggle was organized by the Makkal Athigaram Amaippinar and was attended by many, including Communist Party of India executives.
