The 72nd Republic Day celebrations were held today26.01.2021 at 8.05 amat the Corporation Head Office premises in Coimbatore.
The Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer P. Kumaravel Pandian paid homage to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi by wearing a garland. Later, the Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer hoisted the National Flag at the Victoria Stadium. The Deputy Commissioner of the Corporation S. Madhurantaki presided over the function.
The Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer P. Kumaravel Pandian presented certificates of appreciation to the 10 employees who excelled in corona prevention activities during the period when the public was affected by the coronavirus infection in Coimbatore.
10 Officers and employees who have worked tirelessly for 25 years in the Corporation of Coimbatore have been awarded with Rs. 2000 and Appreciation Certificates by the Corporation Commissioner.
