Man petitions collector to take action against panchayat leader who stopped locals from reporting about a gang who threatened woman

Coimbatore: Periyar Mani from Kinathukadavu, Coimbatore has filed a complaint at the district collector office.

In the complaint filed by Periyar Mani at the Negamam police station, it was stated that Prabu, Gopalaswamy, Sasi, Satheesh who were drunk took a video of women who used open space as their toilets in Panapatti area. The group then used the video to threaten the women. When people went to complain regarding this issue to the police station it is said that AIADMK Panchayat Leader Rajeshwari tried to stop them from complaining.



Periyar Mani complained at the district collector office to take immediate actions against the panchayat board leader and requested to immediately set-up public restrooms in the area.
