Coimbatore: Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy on his second day of election campaign visited people across various parts of Coimbatore and requested them to vote for AIADMK.
Over thousands of people and party members gathered in front of Singanallur bus stand to welcome Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy where he witnessed a grand welcome.
During Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy's address in Singanallur, he accused DMK's Singanallur MLA Karthik for not looking into the welfare of the area members. He further said that Karthik MLA is not executing the government's schemes as he won the elections by giving false hope to people. Chief Minister Edappadi also said that, Singanallur public did not receive any development or help because of DMK.
Later Edappadi Palanisamy addressed the gathering in Peelamedu said that " This is the first election post the demise of Jayalalithaa. AIADMK will continue its reign even after my death to serve good to the people."
He then said that " Stalin's new Vel worship is a part of the DMK drama and stunts done before every election. The Lord will give his blessings only to true believers not fake ones. DMK has brought in Prashant Kishore from North as the director for DMK's drama and they did a perfect drama in Coimbatore. Stalin is taking a bag of lies each time he addresses people."
Chief minister Edappadi Palanisamy further added that DMK has done nothing for the people of Tamilnadu during their 13 year rule except for adding wealth to their family. AIADMK has built multiple bridges in Coimbatore along with colleges, bus stands and many other schemes.
AIADMK Deputy Chief and Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy in his address said that "What new schemes did DMK bring? Whenever DMK leader Karunanidhi went to Delhi, he focused on securing a political future for his family. Makkal Thilagam MGR founded AIADMK party to demolish DMK party aa they are evil to the society.

Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy later during his address said that the AIADMK government has given the public rupees 2500 as Pongal gift and also has given free ration supply for eight months due to Covid-19. He then said that AIADMK government has given free 100 units of electricity across Tamilnadu which is not done by another state.
Free 100 units of electricity costs the government around 8000 rupees every year per family. Kerala charges 650 rupees per 100 units of electricity.
Stalin's family also benefits from the free electricity scheme as part of the people's welfare schemes by the AIADMK government.
During his address in Kalapatti, AIADMK's Chief Minister candidate Edappadi Palanisamy said that DMK is a family company and that MK Stalin is the company chairman with Udhayanidhi and Kanimozhi as directors.
He further said that, DMK party over the years were against God worship and now MK Stalin has taken up Vel worship to secure his place as opposition party.
He also said that MK Stalin's true nature was revealed when he took up Vel worship.
Edappadi Palanisamy then said that AIADMK party members have a good heart and that people respect AIADMK party members for that and wants us to win the upcoming elections.
Later Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy visited Pattatharasi Amman Temple in Kaariampalayam on his way to Annur. He then visited the house of AIADMK member Malavaran and drank tea at his house.
