Industrialists requests will be fulfilled assures CM Edappadi K Palanisamy

Coimbatore: All the Industrialists request will be fulfilled asssured Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy. Office Bearers of various Industry and Trade Associations participated in the interaction meeting tonightwith the Chief Minister of TN, Edappadi K Palaniswami at PSG College of Arts and Scienceauditorium, Coimbatore.

During the meeting Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy said, "Various requests submitted by industry associations will be taken care and all the demands which can be fulfilled by Government would be fulfilled. Agriculture and Industry are equally important to the government similar to two eyes."

"Industry and Agriculture development are much needed for a country's growth. Our government knows about this and hence we continue to give equal importance to both these sectors. Tamilnadu continues to bag national award for many years for producing more food crops. Usually the government will procure 23 lakh metric tonne of rice crop every year. But this year 32.40 Lakhs metric tonne of rice crop were procured by the government.

This achievement has been made possible only because of the efforts taken by our government. Late Chief minister Jayalalitha took an initiative by conducting Global Investors Meet. Our government continues to conduct the meet. During 2019, January our government conducted the meet and brought 3 lakh 5,000 crores investments. Inspite the pandemic outbreak, our government has attracted 60,000 crores, 74 'MOU' were also signed. Tamilnadu continues to be the best and safest place to start industry. This is mainly possible because the proper law and order maintained.

National level, salem, rspuram police station at Coimbatore have bagged awards are good examples for this. Our government has assured industry sectors with uninterrupted power supply which is much needed.

More interest shown on Coimbatore infrastructure development. This is mainly due to the efforts shown by Minister SP.Velumani. Western bypass, Ooty road widening schemes have been geared up. Industries functioning at Coimbatore district provides more job opportunities which is very important and we assure to show the same interest in the upcoming day's ahead also."

CODISSIA President Ramesh Babu, ICCI President Balasubramanian, SIEMA President KV. Karthik, 'KOPMA' president K Maniraj, TACT President, J.James, RASA Association president S.Surulivel and office bearers of various industry association participated.
