Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy arrives in Coimbatore today: An enthusiastic welcome led by Minister SP Velumani!
Coimbatore: Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy arrived in Coimbatore todayto campaign in Coimbatore. He was given an enthusiastic welcome by Minister SP Velumani.
Edappadi Palanisamy, the party's deputy coordinator and chief minister, arrived in Coimbatore by air this evening to campaign in Coimbatore tomorrowand the day after tomorrow. The enthusiastic welcome was led by S.P. Velumani.
Minister SP Velumani welcomed the Chief Minister who came out of the plane with a bouquet. Party executives, Bailiff District, Suburban, Circle, Union, Panchayat all AIADMK. The executives and members of the women’s team were welcomed by many, including MLAs.
Volunteers gave a special welcome as the Chief Minister came out of the airport and exploded firecrackers to sound the trumpets. Following this, Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy met investors and small and micro entrepreneurs in Codissia. He then went to the Government Guest House on Brooke Bond Road to retire.
He will then begin his first day of campaigning tomorrow morningwith a special anointing at the Koniyamman Temple on Townhall Road. A full honor has been arranged for the chief minister on behalf of the temple administration.
Heavy police security has been put in place in Coimbatore ahead of the Chief Minister's 2-day election campaign.
