Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 689 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,16,205 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 5,073.
Among districts, Chennai led with 155 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 55 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 62,152 today, totalling to 1,55,14,693 getting examined till date.
