BJP Officials of The Nilgiris today participated in an opposition protest against a man who built an Aavin booth close to the area's public toilet for women.
The Nilgiris: An individual has set-up an Aavin booth near a women's public toilet in the Municipality of Coonoor, The Nilgiris.
BJP Officials of The Nilgiris today participated in an opposition protest against a man who built an Aavin booth close to the area's public toilet for women.
It is said that a man has set-up this new Aavin booth in the middle of the night and has not moved the booth even after receiving complaints from the merchant's association, public and various political parties.
As a voice against this issue BJP members Eshwaran, Papannan, District Youth Wing Head Ragu Nanthan, District head Kunkumaraj, District Secretary Saravanan along with hundreds of party members participated in a protest.
During the protest the party members urged the district officials to take immediate action against the booth and against the corruption of Coonoor authorities in laying roads.
BJP members said that a siege protest along with a road demonstration will happen if no actions are taken against this.
