Tirupur District Collector conducted a special meeting ahead of the Jallikattu event in Tirupur on January 31st

During the meeting, decisions were made regarding the facilities for bulls, bull fighters, public audiences and others requirements.


Tirupur: Jallikattu, a traditional sport of Tamilnadu is being conducted across various districts from Pongal festival.

As a part of that, a Jallikattu event is scheduled to happen in Alagumalai in Tirupur district on January 31st.



A special meeting regarding the arrangements, safety requirements and execution of the event happened today at the Tirupur Collectorate.



This meeting happened under Tirupur District Collector Vijaya Karthikeyan with the participation of District Superintendent of Police, District Authorities and Jallikattu Welfare Association members.

At the meeting, decisions were made regarding the facilities for bulls, bull fighters, public audiences and others requirements.
