Coimbatore: Sudden showers in Coimbatore today morning affected office-goers. It was a cloudy morning in Coimbatore completely covered in mist. Those who were on their morning walk were seen to be wearing sweaters and scarfs due to the cold for the last few days.
The public thought the cloudy weather was due to the mist and got ready for work as usual when sudden showers lashed the city. Daily wage labourers, traders, platform shop owners, government employees and students suffered the most from the sudden rains.
It is continuing to rain in areas including Ganapathy, Saravanampatti, Ratnapuri, Nanjundapuram, Gandhipuram, Balasundaram Road, Peelamedu, Collector Office area, Avinashi Road and Singanallur from 8 am onwards.
