Coimbatore: Employees protest at BSNL office in Pollachi, demanding various things including proper salary and against privatisation.
Employees todaystaged a protest at the BSNL premises near the new bus stand in Pollachi condemning the delay in payment of their salaries for the past one year and the privatization of the BSNL.
During the protest, slogans were raised condemning the administration for delaying pay and also against the central government.
The protest was led by BSNL Employees Union District Organization Secretary Thangamani. Branch Secretary Prabhakaran, Assistant Chairman Sasitharan and many others were present during the protest.
