Burglary in broad daylight: 20 sovereigns of gold jewels stolen from a house in Coimbatore

This incident of burglary has created panic in the Rathinapuri locality.


Coimbatore: Nagaraj (38) a flex board contract hailed from Rathinapuri area in Coimbatore. As per routine Nagaraj and his wife locked their house and went for work today morning.

Nagaraj was shocked about the burglary incident at his house when his neighbours called him about his house being left open.

Nagaraj immediately informed the Rathinapuri police officials who arrived at the scene immediately.

Post investigation it was revealed that the house and locker in the cupboard was opened during the burglary and about 20 sovereigns of gold jewels were stolen in the burglary.

Rathinapuri police officials have filed a case regarding this incident and are investigating the scene with the help of forensic fingerprint analyst and dogs squad.
