COVID 19: Tamil Nadu posts 713 recoveries to 549 new cases

Coimbatore: Continuing to register a dip in new infections, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday recorded 549 fresh COVID-19 cases and 9 more deaths, pushing the overall case tally to 8,32,415 and toll to 12,290.



Coimbatore: Continuing to register a dip in new infections, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday recorded 549 fresh COVID-19 cases and 9 more deaths, pushing the overall case tally to 8,32,415 and toll to 12,290.

Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 713 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,14,811 till date, the State health department bulletin said.

Active cases stood at 5,314.

Among districts, Chennai led with 150 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 54 cases.

Testing of samples stood at 60,249 today, totalling to 1,53,91,518 getting examined till date.
