Stalin constantly criticize me and Minister Thangamani for shattering his CM dreams and siding with CM and Deputy CM: Minister SP Velumani
Tirupur: Minister SP Velumani in Tirupur said, Stalin is constantly criticizing me and Minister Thangamani for shattering his CM dreams in three months and siding with CM and Deputy CM.
AIADMK inaugurated a new office in Tirupur District. Coimbatore, Tirupur and Nilgiris District AIADMK Co-ordinator Minister SP Velumani inaugurated the office and addressed the volunteers.
He said, "DMK is making false promises. Even the US treasury is not enough to fulfill DMK's false promises. Stalin has been making allegations of corruption against Minister Thangamani and myself since 2016-17.
The reason for this was that Edappadi Palanisamy shattered Stalin's dream of becoming the Chief Minister in three months and as I supported them to continue as the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. He has been making false allegations of corruption against me out of anger for including PMK and DMDK in the 2019 parliamentary elections."
He added that, "Stalin has also been the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Home Affairs and has not done anything for Tamil Nadu so far. I have been the Minister of Home Affairs and have received 143 awards from the Central Government so far. EPS will become the Chief Minister in the coming elections. For that we must work together as brothers and sisters. We must all work in unity, keeping in mind that our enemy is the DMK."
Deputy Speaker and Tirupur Municipal District Secretary Pollachi Jayaraman, MLAs Vijayakumar and Gunasekara were also present on the occasion.
