As the elections are round the corner, political parties are showing more interest in conducting interactive meetings with the industrialists.
Coimbatore: As the election is fast approaching in TN, many political parties show more interest in conducting interactive meetings at Coimbatore. Industrialists have conveyed their eagerness and they have stressed the political parties after winning to show them the same interest in addressing their problems.
After pandemic outbreak, industrial city Coimbatore has started to slowly come out from the impact. Whereas at present the abnormal price hike of raw materials continues to be a big issue which has hit the manufacturing sector hard.
Recently MP Kanimozhi from DMK and Kamal Haasan from Makkal Needhi Maiyam met withthe industrialists. Now Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Edappadi K Palanisamy are to meet with the industrialists on Saturday at two different places. This has given a big hope among the industrialists.
Tamilnadu Association of Micro and Cottage Entrepreneurs Association (TACT) District President, J. James said, "We appreciate the interest shown by various political parties in conducting interactive meetings with industrialists. We expect the same interest to be continued by the political party which wins the election and comes to power in addressing the problems which all the industrialists face."
Coimbatore, Tiruppur District Micro Industries Association (COTMA) President, C. Siva Kumar said, "Industries play a vital role in providing more employment opportunities. At present all the industry sectors are facing many problems.Industry Associations have the responsibility to tell the issues to the political parties who show interest in hearing our problems. Rahul Gandhi is meeting with industrialists this Saturday and the meeting is to take place at Suguna Auditorium at 11:00 am and on the same day night at 9:00 pm Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Edappadi K Palanisami is interacting with the industrialists at Codissia trade fair center." He said.
