Electrician's decomposed body recovered in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Police have recovered the body of an electrician lying in a decomposing state inside a locked house near Coimbatore and sent it for autopsy.
According to the police, Krishnamurthy (55), a resident of Chetty Road, Coimbatore, is working as an electrician in the area. He is survived by his wife, Sasi Priya (44) and they have two children. Krishnamurthy was addicted to alcohol and got drunk and never took care of the family and continued to quarrel with his wife. The wife, who could not bear this, left her husband 2 years ago and went to have children.
The day before yesterday, the people felt a stench emanating from Krishnamurthy's house and immediately went and knocked on the door. As the door was locked from the inside the locals who got suspicious informed the electrician's wife, Sasi Priya, by phone. Sasi Priya who came there immediately opened the house and went inside, She was shocked to see her husband lying dead in a decomposed state.
Sasi Priya lodged a complaint with the Selvapuram police and based on the complaint, the Selvapuram police arrived at the scene, recovered the body and sent it for autopsy.
