Coimbatore: Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi members today celebrated the birth anniversary of Kovai Chezhiyan. At the public meeting after the ceremony Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi Leader Easwaran met with the press.

During his address he said that “Coimbatore under the Smart City project has seen no progress in 5 years. The city has no proper drainage, rainwater harvesting canals. Coimbatore Corporation Officials haven't updated any details online regarding the completion of the works.”

Easwaran also said that Tamilnadu Chief Minister earlier announced that commoners will be able to take E tender but there is no details on the website except advertisements.

“Our party will always be on the side of farmers. He then asked the government to give Covid-19 vaccines to people after knowing its effects and it's the government's position to convince the people to vaccinate.
