Dravidian parties disrespect women - BJP's Gayathri Raguram

During her address at an event in Coimbatore, Gayathri Raguram addressed the media about Dravidian parties disrespecting women.

Coimbatore: BJP party members in Coimbatore organised a special Pongal Celebration in Arasur yesterday. BJP's state cultural leader Gayathri Raguram participated in the event and said that "BJP has given so many projects for the development of women but Dravidian parties keep disrespecting women."

She then said that BJP is celebrating Pongal better than any other party and that by celebrating our traditional festivals, BJP tries to develop the culture and traditions in Tamilnadu.

BJP official Gayathri Raguram then said that Tamilnadu people are celebrating pongal independently and also said that the Central Government's new agricultural reform act is in favour of the public.

She then said that BJP has conducted this festival not for votes but as an act to rejuvenate the culture and traditions of Tamilnadu.

During her address, BJP's state cultural head Gayathri Raguram said that people hate DMK and that is why there are more people attending the pongal event held by BJP officials.
