Police are now conducting an investigation with the 6 members from DMK attacking a journalist during an event.
Coimbatore: A pongal event organised at Kurichi area was scheduled on behalf of DMK party yesterday. DMK’s RS Bharathi was present at the event and addressed the gathering. After that he issued various welfare schemes to the public of that area.
Meanwhile Shekar, a reporter from Kurichi Times (a bimonthly magazine) was covering DMK’s RS Bharathi address on his mobile phone. When some of the members asked Shekar to stop recording he said that he belonged to a media house and needed to cover the event.
