Public congratulates teacher from Coimbatore for being awarded with 'Tamil Semmal Award'
Coimbatore: Public congratulated the teacher from Coimbatore for being awarded with the 'Tamil Semmal Award'. Anwar Basha is a resident of Kuniyamuthur and is a retired Tamil teacher at a private school in Coimbatore. He is interested in Tamil literature and has written 7 books.
He has been teaching Thirukkural to the students in a simple manner and has been spreading the values in the Thirukkural through his teachings. The Thiruvalluvar Award for the year 2019 was presented on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu in appreciation of his works.
Presently the government has given him the "Tamil Semmal Award' for the year 2020. He happily said, "When I was a teacher, I used to write a Thirukkural on the blackboard without even missing a single day. It is my job to spread the values that Thirukkural teaches to all."
The public continues to praise and congratulate him on his achievement.
