Coimbatore: Ajith (21) a daily wage worker from Thondamuthur was returning from Kottur near Pollachi yesterday evening.
Meanwhile Maheshwaran (21) and Gopal (22) from Pongaliyur were returning from Aliyar on their two wheeler.
It is said that the motorcycles lost their control and collided against each other. Maheshwaran who was driving one bike died on the spot.
Gopal who came with Maheshwaran and Ajith who was on the other bike were heavily injured in this accident. Public recovered them and sent them to Pollachi Government Hospital. They were then sent to Coimbatore Government Hospital for further treatment.
