Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 827 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,08,571 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 6,807.
Among districts, Chennai led with 194 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 59 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 60,563 today, totalling to 1,49,45,576 getting examined till date.
