Coimbatore: Minister SP Velumani today gave away free cycles to the 11th standard students of government higher secondary school in Kuniyamuthur.
Post that he addressed the gathering and said that Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy is like "Superstar" among students. Minister SP Velumani then gave the Pongal gifts to manual labourers in the area.
District Collector Rajamani and other school education department officials took part in this event.
Rural Development Minister SP Velumani who spoke amidst students said that Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy is taking every measure to make the lives of students better.He further said that Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy has sanctioned to give away 2gb data everyday for students.
Post this Rural Development Minister SP Velumani met with the press and said that Edapadi Palanisamy is the Chief Minister deserved by the people of Tamilnadu. He then said that "the public love chief minister for his pongal gift scheme and also said that the people will celebrate this pongal peacefully.
Over 50,000 women participated in a demonstration which condemned DMK. Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has taken immediate action against the accused of the Pollachi sexual assault case, but DMK is making a drama for the assembly elections.
Udhayanidhi Stalin and Kanimozhi say 200 women were affected in the Pollachi sexual assault case without any proof and said that such false claims must be condemned."

Minister SP Velumani also said the people will help AIADMK party win the coming assembly elections will be put a full stop for the family party.
