Coimbatore: 15 sovereign gold and 1.5 lakhs cash robbed by breaking into driving school owner's house in Coimbatore. Ganesh (age 39) is from Burma Colony near Saravanampatti, Coimbatore. He runs a driving school in the area. Ganesh locked his house on the 5th and moved with his family to his hometown, Thalavadi in Erode district. When he returned home last night he saw that the front door of the house was broken open. Shocked by this, when he went inside the house and looked it was revealed that unidentified persons broke into the front door of the house and looted 15 sovereign gold jewelry and Rs 1.5 lakh cash.
Ganesh informed theSaravanampatti police about this. Police rushed to the scene and conducted an investigation and fingerprint experts were called in. They recorded the fingerprints of unidentified individuals which were registered at the home. Saravanampatti police have registered a case and are searching for the unidentified person who looted jewelry and money with the help of the fingerprints. They are also checking the surveillance cameras installed in the area to check for the footage of the robber.
