Tamils reputation of being expert in water management tarnished due to corrupt money-mindedness: Kamal Haasan

Tirupur: Tamils reputation of being expert in water management has been tarnished due to corrupt money-mindedness.

Kamal Haasan, chairman of the Makkal Neethi Maiam campaigned todayin front of the Avinashi New Bus Stand in Tirupur district. He addressed the crowd from a campaign vehicle. He addressed a large gathering of executives, volunteers and the public. This affected traffic on the road from Avinashi to Coimbatore for some time.

He said, "This is not a war between parties, it is a war between honesty and corruption. I want you to know that your vote should be for honesty. We have heard that Sundarar Padikambadi who rescued the boy was eaten by the crocodile. Tamil Nadu cannot be saved even by Padi as the money-hungry crocodiles that are swallowing up Tamil Nadu today. Tamil Nadu must be rescued from the clutches of these money-hungry crocodiles. First-time voters are the ones with pure consciousness and they cast votes not according to the caste but looking at their achievements. We are vouching for the prosperity line. The dream project of the MNM is to take you all to the prosperity line and beyond."

He also said it has rained so heavily that even the neighboring state is envious but there is no water to drink. He added that the reputation of Tamils has been tarnished as Tamils who were once renowned in water management is no more due to the money-hungry crocodiles.
