Pollachi rape case: CBI to take all three accused into custody today
Chennai: Even after Actor Rajnikanth made it explicitly clear that health will not cooperate with the efforts required to participate in electoral politics, hundreds of his supporters gathered at Valluvar Kottam in Chennai on Sunday morning, requesting Rajni to revisit his decison.
The fans launched a rally in Chennai on Sunday, demanding that the actor enter politics, again. The demonstration in Chennai comes after the actor giving a detailed explanation through letter dated December 29, 2020 about the risks to his health, if he contracted coronavirus and apologising to his supporters for his withdrawal.
Disappointed by his supporters act of holding rallies and demonstrations, the actor has issued another letter on January 11 appealing to his ardent fans and supporters to refrain from holding such demonstrations seeking him to re-visit his decisions.
The actor in the letter has requested his fans not to upset him further by urging him to take part in electoral politics and not hold any meetings or demonstrations in this regard.
