Police officials should be the solution to people's problems and should never be the cause of it - West Zone IG   Periaiah

Coimbatore: West Zone IG Periaiah was the guest of honour at an introductory function of police watchers who will be monitoring 51 villages within Pollachi.

During the event West Zone Police Department Head Periyayya gave away the official joining orders to the police cadres.

He addressed the gathering and spoke on how police officials should work with the village people to solve crimes and maintain law and order.



He also said that the newly appointed police officials should gain the trust and respect of the locals. He further said that police officials should be the solution of people's problems and never should be the cause of it.

He also said that people of Tamilnadu will be at ease during festivals like pongal and diwali only if Tamilnadu police department keeps the crime rate down. He then said that Tamilnadu police officials are toiling hard and are the best like the Scotland Yard Police.
