Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in The Nilgiris was closed for public visits since March 17th last year since the onset of Covid-19 pandemic.

Due to the government's order to contain Covid-19 spread, elephant safari, jeep safari and elephant's camp were closed.

Since the government has relaxed the restrictions now, jeep safari is now opened following the government's guidelines of permitting 50% capacity.

Following this elephant camp is now opened for public visits following all protocols issued by the government.

Hotels and resorts are expected to be opened from 11th January.
