Police form a group in Coimbatore to collect and donate Rs 1,60,000 to the family of lady police who lost her life to Covid-19

The police officials collected a sum of rupees 1,60,000 and gave it the family of the lady cop in the presence of SP Arularasu.


Coimbatore: A lady cop Thanga Essaki passed away in October after being affected by Covid-19 virus.

After her death, a senior police officer Babu created a whatsapp named "Helping Hands" through which police officials within the Coimbatore district contributed to help the family of the lady cop.

The police officials collected a sum of Rs. 1,60,000 and gave it the family of the lady cop in the presence of SP Arularasu.

Lady police's parents Muthuraj and Senthuragini received this amount today and thanked the police officials with tear filled eyes.
