5th standard girl commits suicide after a fight with her mother.
Coimbatore: Selvam and his wife Saraswathi are residents of Idayarpalayam near Pothanur. The couple are parents to a young girl of age 10.
This young girl who was in her 5th standard had an argument with her mother over buying snacks. The young girl who was upset after being scolded by her mother went to their relatives place.
Saraswathi who went to call her daughter back, found the door locked from inside the room where the girl was staying. Saraswathi who thought that her daughter was watching television and went back home.
After this the girl did not come out of the room for a long time. Suspicious about this, the girl's mom and relatives tried to open the door and were shocked to find the girl hanging dead.
Pothanur police officials were informed about this incident who arrived immediately. The officials then recovered the body and have sent it for autopsy at the Coimbatore government hospital.
The police officials have filed a case under section 174 and are further investigating about the case.
