Members of Dr RMR Pasarai celebrate former king and freedom fighter Veerapandiya Kattabomman's birth anniversary in Perundurai and Tirupur.

Tamil Nadu former chief secretary Dr Ram Mohan Rao inaugurated the Veerapandiya Kattabomman’s 262 birthday celebration by hoisting the flag at Perundurai.
Former Tamil Chief Secretary and founder of Dr RMR Pasarai Dr Ram Mohan Rao addressed the gathering at the Perundurai Busstand after hoisting the flag.
Dr RMR Pasarai was started during 2019 in Tamilnadu when all community leaders assembled in a meeting. The Pasarai focuses on uniting all the neglected communities and fighting for their development.
Also, the Pasarai focuses on celebrating all the birthday functions of various leaders who had fought for the development of the community like Tirumalai Nayakkar, Veerapandiya Kattabomman, Ondiveeran Pulithevan, Marudhu brothers, Azagu Muthukon and Adhithanar Narayansamy Naidu.
Later, the members of Pasarai assembled in front of the Veerapandiya Kaatabomman statue at Uthukuli road at Tirupur. Dr Ram Mohan Rao then paid his respect by placing garlands at the freedom fighter's statue and also delivered his address.
Various other community leaders of the Tamilnadu attended functions celebrated in Perundurai and Tirupur.
